Meat 'N Tater Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 frozen pie crusts
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 envelope dry onion soup mix
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. hash brown potatoes, thawed
    dash of pepper
    dash of allspice
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Allow pie crusts to thaw slightly.
    Combine uncooked meat, soup mix, milk, pepper and allspice.
    Mix gently.
    Lightly pat into pie crust plate.
    Top with thawed hash brown potatoes.
    Salt and pepper hash brown potatoes to taste.
    Add top crust.
    Seal and flute edges.
    Cover fluted edges to keep them from browning too much.
    Cut slits in top crust.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour until golden brown.
    Serve with warm ketchup, if desired.
