Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. yellow squash
    1 medium onion
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    14 saltine crackers, crumbled
    1/2 c. milk
    2 eggs
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Slice squash and chop onion.
    Boil together until tender. Drain off water and mash.
    Add cracker crumbs and eggs and mix well.
    Add milk and cheese (save enough cheese to sprinkle on top). Add salt and pepper.
    Pour into buttered casserole dish and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
