Pineapple Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices fresh bread
    1 c. sugar
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. margarine or butter, softened
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Beat eggs and add to first mixture. Stir in pineapple and juice.
    Fold in bread and a pinch of salt. Bake in a greased casserole at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serve hot. This is excellent with a ham dinner.
