Ingredients

2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
1 can flaked coconut (1 3/4 c.)
1 c. broken pecans
1 stick butter or oleo
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 gal. ice cream (block type for slicing)
Preparation

Toast the first 4 ingredients on cookie sheet in a 300\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or until brown with occasional stirring.
Then add brown sugar to mixture and stir to blend.
Put 1/2 of mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Cut ice cream in 1-inch slices and place on top of crunchy mixture.
Add rest of mixture on top and freeze. Cut into squares to serve.
