Hamburger Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small onions
    3/4 lb. hamburger
    1 can tomato soup
    1 1/2 c. canned corn
    shortening
    mashed potatoes
Preparation
    Slice onions into frying pan and cook slowly in shortening. Saute meat with onions.
    Arrange meat and corn in casserole in 4 layers.
    Season with salt and pepper and cover with tomato soup. Put mashed potatoes on top.
    Brush top with beaten egg yolk and bake in a 450\u00b0 oven until potatoes brown.
    Makes 6 servings.
