Hortense'S Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. milk
2/3 c. shortening
2 pkg. yeast
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
6 c. flour
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. warm water
1/2 tsp. soda
1 egg
Preparation

Mix the milk, 2/3 cup sugar, shortening and salt and heat to lukewarm.
Let cool.
Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water and 1/2 teaspoon of sugar.
When cool, mix yeast, egg and flour with soda, baking powder and salt already added.
Let rise, then make out rolls.
Let rise again.
Bake at 375\u00b0.
