Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1 1/2 c. chicken broth
    2 c. milk
    1 c. heavy cream
    10 broccoli spears, cooked
Preparation
    In a saucepan, melt the butter; stir in flour, salt and pepper until blended.
    Add chicken broth, stirring over medium heat until mixture thickens.
    Add the milk and stir until smooth.
    Pour into a blender the cream and 5 broccoli spears.
    Blend until smooth. Add to the cooked mixture.
    Chop the remaining broccoli and add to the soup.
    Simmer for 5 minutes and serve.
    Serves 6.
