Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. applesauce
    4 c. sifted cake flour
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 (15 oz.) pkg. light raisins, chopped
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add applesauce.
    Gradually stir in flour and other dry ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Add vanilla.
    Add raisins that have been coated with a little of the flour.
    Grease and flour 2 (8-inch) cake pans.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Invert and leave pans over cake until perfectly cold before handling.
    Frost with White Icing.
