Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion
    1 small bell pepper
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1/2 c. rice, uncooked
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Saute onion and pepper in oil, then add meat, rice, salt, pepper and chili powder.
    Cook in a covered casserole at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
