Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening (1/2 butter and 1/2 Crisco or lard)
    1 c. molasses
    1 c. milk
    4 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. soda (heaping)
Preparation
    Cream first 4 ingredients.
    Add rest of the ingredients. Chill overnight.
    Roll out.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    I like a soft cookie, so I roll them out 1/4-inch thick.
