Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. instant oatmeal
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs, unbeaten
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cut butter into small pieces.
Add oatmeal and pour in boiling water.
Let stand for 20 minutes.
Add brown and white sugar and eggs.
Beat well.
Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture.
Beat well.
Add vanilla and beat well.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
