Master Mix(Bisquick) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 lb. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 c. dry milk solids
3/4 c. baking powder
3 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. sugar
2 lb. shortening
Preparation

Stir baking powder, milk, salt, cream of tartar and sugar into flour.
Sift together 3 times into a large bowl.
Cut in the shortening until mix is the consistency of cornmeal.
(The easiest method of mixture is flouring the hands and applying finger power.) Makes 28 cups.
Use for muffins, gingerbread, coffee cake, biscuits, pancakes/waffles (recipes follow).
