Irish Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. cooked white potatoes
    1 1/4 lb. sugar
    1 c. heavy cream
    1 1/2 heaping tsp. baking powder
    2 lemons
    grated nutmeg
    1/2 lb. butter
    salt to taste
    9 eggs
    milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    lemon extract
Preparation
    Put cooked potatoes through strainer.
    Add butter while hot. Add sugar, salt, cream and eggs; mix thoroughly.
    Add baking powder and enough milk to make a medium batter.
    Season to taste with lemon juice and grated rind of lemon, lemon extract, vanilla and nutmeg.
    Pour into pan lined with thin pie crust.
    Makes 2 large or 3 medium pies.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 45 minutes.
