Marinated Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large cabbage, chopped
2 medium onions, sliced and divided into rings
7/8 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. celery seed
2 tsp. sugar
Preparation

Alternate cabbage, onions and sugar in a bowl.
Mix together and bring to a boil the vinegar, oil, salt, mustard, celery seed and sugar.
Pour over cabbage.
Let stand at least 24 hours in refrigerator before serving.
Slaw will keep for several days in refrigerator.
