Ingredients

6 eggs, beaten stiff as possible
3 1/8 c. sugar
7 1/2 c. milk
4 c. whipping cream (can use 1 large can of evaporated milk and balance whipping cream)
6 1/4 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Add sugar gradually to beaten eggs.
Continue to beat until mixture is very stiff.
Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Pour into a chilled 1 1/2-gallon container and freeze.
(Use either electric or hand-turned freezer.)
