Old Fashioned Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 lb.) chicken
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. butter
2 eggs
Preparation
-
Simmer chicken until tender enough to bone and skin in salt water.
Put chicken back into broth and bring to boil.
Cut butter into flour and add eggs.
Mix well and roll thin as for pastry.
Cut into narrow strips and drop into boiling broth with chicken.
Cook for 10 minutes or until done.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
