Layered Chili Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    shredded lettuce
    1 can kidney beans
    tortilla chips
Preparation
    Combine beef, onion and garlic in a large skillet.
    Cook until meat is browned.
    Drain.
    Now combine meat mixture, sauce, water and seasonings in a medium sized bowl.
    Stir well.
    Place half of meat mixture in lightly greased 2-quart casserole.
    Top with chips.
    Repeat layers.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Uncover.
    Bake 5 minutes longer.
    Top with shredded lettuce.
