Hot Mulled Cider - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 qt. cider
1 tsp. whole allspice
1 tsp. whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick (3 inches)
dash of nutmeg
Preparation

In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, salt and cider.
Mix well. Tie whole spices in a small piece of cheesecloth; add to cider with nutmeg.
Over medium heat, bring cider to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes.
Remove spices.
