Ingredients

4 lb. small okra
1 pt. white vinegar
1 qt. water
1/3 c. salt
hot pepper (1 pod per pt.)
garlic bud (1 bud per pt.)
dill seed (1/2 tsp. per pt.)
Preparation

Wash, drain and trim ends of okra.
Pack okra firmly into jars.
Put garlic bud, hot pepper and dill seed in each jar. Bring to boil water, salt and vinegar.
Cover okra with hot brine; adjust lids.
Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
