Lucy'S Sunday Night Supper For Two Or Twenty (Lucille Ball) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    plain iceberg lettuce salad, crisp and pulled apart (never cut)
    2 lb. ground round steak
    2 bunches green onions, chopped
    2 large green peppers, chopped
    1/2 clove garlic, chopped
    1 large can solid packed tomatoes with juice
    1/2 lb. small egg noodles
    assorted salad dressings: French, Thousand Island, etc.
Preparation
    Brown the meat in butter and add sauteed chopped onions, green pepper and garlic.
    Put to a slow simmer.
    Add canned tomatoes plus juice.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Add Accent.
    Last 1/2 hour, add cooked, strained egg noodles.
    Serve with salad, garlic-buttered, heated French bread and dessert of your choice.
    Serves 4 to 6.
