Nanny'S Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. plain flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. soda
3 tsp. cinnamon
3 tsp. allspice
3 tsp. cocoa
2 c. buttermilk
1 c. margarine
1 large box raisins

Preparation

Sift dry ingredients 2 or 3 times.
Mix in buttermilk and margarine.
Add raisins, leaving enough to cover cake.
Pour into three round cake pans.
Bake at 325\u00b0 until done (ovens vary, do not overcook).
