Pat'S Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 large egg
    2 1/2 to 3 c. self-rising flour
    1 pkg. yeast
    2/3 c. warm water
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Mix shortening, sugar and egg. Stir in dissolved yeast and add flour.
    Beat until combined. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
    Turn out on floured surface and roll into desired shapes; or after mixing refrigerate overnight and roll out.
    Let rise 1 to 2 hours and cook at 375\u00b0 until brown and brush with melted butter.
