Enchilada Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    6 tortilla shells (spread with butter)
    1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 c. water
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Brown beef and onions; add seasonings and tomato sauce. In a casserole dish, alternate layers of tortillas, meat sauce and cheese. Add water; cover tightly and bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Do not freeze.
