Low-Fat Cupcakes - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. wheat germ
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. raisins
1/4 c. chocolate chips
1 c. skim milk
1/4 c. applesauce
1 egg
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Coat a muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray.
Mix first eight ingredients in a large bowl.
In a two-cup measure, mix milk, applesauce and egg.
Combine liquid and dry ingredients, mixing just to combine.
Batter will be lumpy.
Fill muffin cups three-quarters full.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Yield: 10 muffins.
