Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    2/3 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Melt chocolate and shortening.
    Beat eggs with 2 cups sugar. Add dry ingredients and melted chocolate and shortening.
    Put in 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
