Quick And Easy Lunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef or sausage
    1 medium green pepper, diced
    1 medium red pepper, diced
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 clove garlic
    2 Tbsp. bacon bits
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained and diced
    1 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. soy bean oil
    1 c. cold water or skim milk
Preparation
    Simmer in 2 tablespoons olive oil ground beef until tender, peppers, onions and mushrooms.
    Remove from heat.
    Mix together in pan:
    flour, cornstarch, oil and water.
    Stir over medium heat. Bring to a boil.
    Lower heat and simmer to thickness desired. (This sauce can be omitted and McCormick white sauce mix can be used.)
    Mix with meat mixture and serve over toast, mashed or baked potato.
