Cream Of Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 qt. tomatoes
    7 medium onions
    1 stick celery or 1 tsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    3 bay leaves
    14 Tbsp. flour
    14 Tbsp. margarine
    3 Tbsp. salt
    8 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Wash and cut up tomatoes.
    Chop onions and celery.
    Cook tomatoes and next 4 ingredients until celery is tender.
    Put through a sieve.
    Rub flour and butter into a smooth paste, thinned with tomato juice.
    Add to boiling soup.
    Add salt, sugar and pepper.
    (For smoother consistency, put through sieve again.) Seal by processing 15 minutes in water bath.
