Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. bacon drippings
    1/2 lb. sharp cheese, grated
    1 medium onion, cut up
    1 or 2 garlic buttons, cut up
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. whole kernel corn
    1 c. sweet milk
    1/2 lb. ground meat
    3 to 5 jalapeno peppers, chopped
Preparation
    Saute onions and garlic with ground meat in skillet.
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Place 1/2 of batter in well-greased skillet/pan (dusted with meal).
    Spread grated cheese over batter. Add remaining batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
