Frosted Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (13 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2 (3 oz.) lemon Jell-O
1 (7 oz.) ginger ale
2 c. jellied cranberry sauce
1 (2 oz.) pkg. dessert topping or Cool Whip
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1/2 c. pecans
Preparation

Drain pineapple (save syrup).
Add water to make 1 cup.
Heat to boiling; dissolve Jell-O in hot liquid.
Cool.
Gently stir in ginger ale.
Chill until partially set.
Blend fruits; fold into gelatin and chill.
Blend cheese with topping.
Put on top.
Toast pecans in 1 tablespoon butter.
Spread on top.
Chill.
