Strawberry Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 c. fresh strawberries, chopped
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon sugar
Preparation
    Cream the butter.
    Gradually add sugar and eggs.
    Cream until light and fluffy.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
    Add lemon extract and gently fold in strawberries.
    Spoon batter into well-greased muffin pans, filling 2/3 full.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes.
    Yields about 2 dozen.
