Kids' Favorite Hot Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. frankfurters (8 to 10)
    1 large dill pickle, cut into 8 to 10 thin wedges, if desired
    8 to 10 slices bacon
    8 to 10 frankfurter buns, split
    1/2 c. chunky style peanut butter
Preparation
    Cut frankfurters lengthwise about 3/4 of the way through. Place one wedge of pickle, cut side down, in each frankfurter. Wrap with a slice of bacon.
    Secure with wooden picks, if necessary.
    Place on grill over ash covered coals so frankfurters are 3 to 4 inches from heat.
    Grill at moderate temperature 8 to 10 minutes, turning frequently.
    Spread out sides of buns with an equal amount of peanut butter.
    Remove wooden picks from frankfurters.
    Serve frankfurters in peanut butter buns.
