Cheese Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices buttered white bread (crusts removed)
    2 eggs
    2 c. milk
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Place 3 slices buttered bread in a greased casserole.
    Cover with 1 cup cheese.
    Add remaining bread and top with cheese.
    Mix eggs, milk and seasonings.
    (Beat enough to make fluffy.)
    Pour over bread and cheese.
    Let stand 1 hour or more (overnight is better).
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
