Sugar And Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. butter (1/2 lb.)
3 tsp. cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins

Preparation

Cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
Add alternately with the cream.
Add raisins. Mix by hand thoroughly.
Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet.
Beat 1 egg and 1 tablespoon cream together.
Brush on cookies.
Sprinkle with plain or colored sugar.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 8 or 10 minutes.
