Fresh Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 large cucumbers
1 green pepper, seeded
1 onion
1 Tbsp. salt
2 tsp. celery seed
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. white vinegar
Preparation

Slice unpeeled cucumbers 1/16-inch thick.
Finely chop pepper and onion and combine with cucumbers in a bowl.
Sprinkle with salt and celery seed and let stand one hour or longer.
Combine sugar and vinegar and add to the cucumber mixture.
Stir well. Cover and refrigerate at least one day.
