Doves In Wine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 doves
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground pepper
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/2 c. melted butter
    2 cloves garlic
    1 c. chicken bouillon
    1 1/2 c. Burgundy
    1 can drained canned mushrooms
    1 c. orange juice
Preparation
    Wash
    doves
    good
    in cold water; drain well.
    Pat dry. Split down middle.
    Mix together flour, salt, pepper, paprika and basil.
    Dredge doves in flour mixture.
    Put melted butter and garlic
    in\theavy
    Dutch oven or skillet, covered.\tBrown doves over
    medium-high
    heat.
    Pour
    bouillon
    and wine over doves, cover.
    Simmer, stirring frequently, for about an hour. Add mushrooms
    and
    orange
    juice;
    simmer
    6 minutes longer. Thicken pan juice with a little flour.
    Serve hot.
