Picante Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 qt. tomatoes, chopped
    4 large onions, chopped
    1 c. hot pepper, chopped
    8 tsp. salt
    6 tsp. garlic salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar (5% acidity)
    2 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and cook 2 hours in open pot.
    You can cook 3 hours on low heat.
    Place in hot jars and seal.
