Jill'S Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. dark corn syrup (not light syrup)
    1 c. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    5 qt. popped popcorn
Preparation
    Mix and boil first 4 ingredients.
    Boil for 5 minutes; do not stir.
    Remove from fire and stir in 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Pour mixture over 5 quarts of popped corn.
    Do not stir in!
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Remove and stir.
    Put back in oven and repeat every 15 minutes until baked for 1 hour.
    If peanuts are desired, add after the first 15 minutes.
