Strawberry Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. strawberry jello
    10 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries, slightly thawed
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    angel food cake, baked according to directions
    8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    In a large bowl, dissolve jello in 1 1/4 cup boiling water. Stir in berries with juice and sugar; cool until thickened.
    Fold in Cool Whip.
    Cut cake into 1/2-inch slice and place in bottom of 9 x 13 loaf pan; next put 1/2 jello mixture over cake and repeat layers.
    Refrigerate.
    You could break cake into pieces and mix with jello also.
