Salmon Croquettes(Not Granny Mac'S!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) can salmon
    1 egg
    2 heaping tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Drain
    salmon;
    set
    juice
    aside.
    Mix salmon, egg and flour with fork, mixing well.
    Mixture will be thick.
    (Do not add salt; black pepper is optional.) Add baking powder to 1/4 cup
    of reserved
    salmon
    juice and beat well.
    Add to salmon mixture. Drop by tablespoon into hot oil;
    cook until brown.
