Hot Cross Buns - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sweet butter (1 stick)
1/3 c. honey
3/4 c. mashed potatoes (use instant if you must)
1 1/2 Tbsp. dry yeast (2 pkg.)
1/2 c. warm water
1/2 tsp. sugar or honey
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
5 c. flour (approximately)
2/3 c. raisins
Preparation

In a saucepan scald the milk.
Add the butter, honey and mashed potatoes.
Stir with a wire whisk or fork until the mixture is smooth and the butter melted.
Cool to lukewarm.
