Nut Bread - Cranberry Classic - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/8 tsp. ground cloves
    1 c. vegetable shortening
    1 c. orange juice
    2/3 c. light molasses
    3 large eggs
    1 1/2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries
    1/2 c. shredded carrots
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Preheat oven
    to
    350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan. In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, orange rind, baking powder, baking
    soda,
    cinnamon,
    salt,
    ginger,
    allspice and cloves. Add shortening, orange juice and molasses.
    Beat for 2 minutes at medium speed; mix thoroughly.
    Add eggs and beat for 2 minutes. Stir in cranberries, carrots and pecans.
    Pour into pan and
    bake for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
