Country Style Pork Chops And Carrots - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 pork chops
8 medium carrots, pared
1 large onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. flour
2 Tbsp. shortening
1/3 c. water
Preparation

Cut carrots in half lengthwise.
Arrange in bottom of baking pan.
Cut onion crosswise into 8 slices.
Combine flour, salt, thyme and pepper.
Dredge chops in this.
Brown in shortening and arrange in pan over carrots.
Place onion slice on each.
Pour water over chops.
Cover pan tightly with foil.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until meat and carrots are done, about 1 hour.
