Graham Cracker Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

37 graham crackers (single)
1/2 c. shortening (Nueco)
1 c. sugar
3 eggs, separated
1/2 c. walnuts
3 tsp. baking powder
speck of salt
1 scant c. milk
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening good.
Beat egg yolks and add to mixed sugar and shortening (cream good again).
Roll graham crackers very fine and add salt and baking powder to rolled crackers.
Add nuts, then combine with beaten yolks and sugar, adding milk gradually.
Mix thoroughly, then fold in beaten egg whites.
Bake in 2 layers in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
