Oatmeal Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. oatmeal, uncooked
    3 to 4 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and sugar in a mixing bowl.
    Cut in shortening until mixture is coarse meal.
    Stir in oats.
    Sprinkle water evenly over surface.
    stir with a fork until all ingredients are moistened.
    Shape dough into a ball.
    Chill.
    Roll to fit 9-inch pie pan.
    Makes one 9-inch pastry shell.
