Ingredients

1 stick oleo plus 2 Tbsp.
1 c. brown sugar plus 2 Tbsp.
1 tsp. cinnamon
nuts (if desired)
8 to 10 slices white bread
6 eggs, beaten
2 c. milk or evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

The evening before serving, place the melted oleo, brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts in bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
On this, place 8 to 10 slices of trimmed bread and stack 2 deep. Beat eggs well with milk and vanilla.
Pour over ingredients in pan.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Next morning, bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
As you serve, invert portions on plate. Makes own sauce.
