Apple Crumb Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large, tart apples
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    1/3 c. butter
    9-inch pastry lined pan
Preparation
    Pare apples.
    Cut in slices and arrange in pastry lined pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar mixed with the cinnamon.
    Sift remaining 1/2 cup sugar with flour. Cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.
    Bake in hot oven at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake about 40 more minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm or cool.
