Autumn Pumpkin Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 c. pumpkin puree
4 c. sugar
juice of 4 lemons
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Combine pumpkin puree, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and nutmeg in a slow cooker; mix well.
Cook on high until thickened to desired consistency.
Spoon into hot sterilized jars, leaving 1/2-inch headspace.
Seal with 2 piece lid and process 10 minutes.
Yields 4 pints.
