White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. flavoring
    4 egg whites (unbeaten)
Preparation
    Stir flour, sugar and shortening together.
    Add milk and flavoring.
    Beat vigorously for 2 minutes.
    Add unbeaten egg whites and continue beating 2 more minutes.
    Batter will be thin. Bake in 2 (8-inch) greased and floured pans in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Ice with favorite icing.
