Potato Latkes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 baking potatoes
    1 sweet onion
    3 cloves garlic
    1 egg
Preparation
    Peel and grate potatoes and onion.
    (Grating some of your own skin adds unique flavor, but the use of a Cuisinart has been declared kosher.)
    Lightly drain excess liquid.
    Squeeze in garlic. Add egg, pinch of nutmeg, salt and pepper.
    Add about 4 ounces of flour (to thicken to pancake consistency) and pinch of baking powder.
