Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. Crisco
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. water
3 c. oats (uncooked)
1 c. all-purpose flour
dash of salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Beat together shortening, sugar, egg, water and vanilla until creamy.
Add combined remaining ingredients; mix well.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 14 minutes.
Nuts, raisins, chips, etc., can be added for variety.
